Prof. CHAN Siew Hwa, Vice Director of Sino-Singapore International JRI; A Professor in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Co-director of Energy Research Institute at NTU. Dr. Chan joined NTU in 1991 after obtaining his PhD and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral research staff from Imperial College London. Dr. Chan is a Non-Executive Director of Maz Energy Pte Ltd, Advisor to Total SA (France), Wuhan Koleal, Horizon Energy Systems, etc. His research is inclined to Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Technologies. Dr. Chan has published >270 refereed journal papers with a total citation of >14000 and h-index of 60. He is the recipient of George-Stephenson award, IAHE award, etc. and was listed among The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds 2014” by Thomson Reuters.
