Dr. Shiping Huang has been with South China University of Technology since 2011. He received his bachelor degree at South China University of Technology in 2002. Then he went to Southeast University for his mater degree, majoring in structural engineering. He finished his Ph.D degree in civil engineering at the University of Kansas in 2011. From 2014 to 2016, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at John’s Hopkins University.
Dr.Huang currently is an associate professor in civil engineering. Dr.Huang’s research interests include computational mechanics and experimental mechanics.
He has received over 5 million RMB research funding, including 2 NSFC projects (served as a PI). He published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles,5 patents and 6 softwares.
