Her academic experience:
Dr. Long received her Ph.D. in Cambridge University in 2005.
2005-2011, Teaching fellow. Transfer two technologies to industry.
2011-present she has published more than 70 papers including Joule, Advanced functional materials, ACS Nano and invited reviews. Her work has been reported widely in Wechat researcher platform, including, Nanoresearchers, Wiley China, Materialsviews, Frontier in polymer researchers, and Intellectual and Researchers.

Functional thin films, Smart windows, Energy saving smart windows, flexible devices
Her early careers involves mainly technology transfer to industry and she has successfully developed two technology to industry including Seagate Technology. For the past few years, her major research focus in smart windows and she won Global TechConnect Innovation Award Washington in 2015 as principal investigator. Her current research interests include but not limited to functional coating esp. energy saving coatings, flexible devices, smart materials applications.
