The research outcome from Dr Long Yi's team was published in JOULE, one of the most prestigious scientific journals (2019 impact factor: 29.16).

CSIJRI welcomed the visit of Mr Ruan Xiangping, a first-level inspector from the Ministry of Science and Technology's International Cooperation Department.

CSIJRI was selected for the 2020 Global Top 100 Technology Transfer Cases list.

The China-Singapore International Smart Industrial Park, where the CSIJRI headquarters building is located, held its groundbreaking ceremony.
Antiviral Polypeptides Surfacing and Its Biomedical Applications, one of CSIJRI's projects, received special funding from the Guangdong Science and Technology Department under the Belt & Road Initiative.

CSIJRI established its commercial arm, Guangzhou Zhongxing Technology Development Co., Ltd., to support its sustainable development.

Mr Tan Shau En, former Assistant Chief Executive (Commercialisation) of the Singapore IP Office, visited CSIJRI.

China's President Xi Jinping and Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong witnessed the signing of the agreement to establish CSIJRI.

Witnessed by Mr Hu Chunhua, a member of the CPC Central Committee and the then Secretary of The CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, a collaboration agreement between SCUT and NTU Singapore was signed in Singapore in April 2014.
