They hold considerable influence within their industry segments. The "Notice of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology on Issuing the Implementation Rules for the Cultivation and Management of High-Quality Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" further elaborates on this concept, delineating three categories and a tiered layout: innovative SMEs, SRDI SMEs, and SRDI "little giant" enterprises.
Being recognized as an innovative enterprise is a prerequisite for achieving the status of SRDI "Little Giant" enterprises. These designations act as a driving force for high-quality economic development and play a crucial role in shaping a new industrial landscape.
