On February 1, the Institute welcomed a delegation from the GKC Development and Construction Office headed by Mr Huang Weijian, a member of the Party group and Deputy Director of the office, and they received a warm welcome from Mr Xie Xinghua, CSIJRI Senior Vice President, and Dr Gu Haiwen, CSIJRI Vice President.
The delegation visited the exhibition hall and the headquarters building, where they received presentations on the Institute's achievements and commercialization efforts in technology cooperation, talent recruitment, technology transfer, and intellectual property management. They gained detailed insights into companies in incubation, such as Simscop, Namiton, Guangfu, and Zhongxing Tech, and the project teams' innovation and product development progress. The delegation expressed high praise for the accomplishments in technology transfer and research commercialisation.
Mr Huang emphasized that tech transfer is a vital aspect of innovation. As an international platform connecting supply and demand in technological advancements, CSIJRI has achieved notable success in aggregating top-tier innovation resources, fostering innovative talent, and facilitating research commercialisation. In the future, the focus should remain on advancing technological breakthroughs from the lab to the market, eliminating barriers, and facilitating technology transition into tangible products.
