Recently, the Guangdong Department of Science and Technology announced the shortlisted projects for the 2022 awards, including the Guangdong Natural Science Award, Technology Invention Award, Science and Technology Progress Award, Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, and Technology Popularization Award. The Popularising Technologies to Enhance Borneol Plum Tree Utilization, jointly submitted by Prof Su Jianyu's team from CSIJRI, SCUT, Guangdong University of Technology, and Guangdong Huaqingyuan Biotechnology, won the 2022 Guangdong Technology Popularization Award.
