CSIJRI Welcomes Delegation from NTU Singapore

On April 13th, Prof Liu Hong, Associate Vice President of International Engagement at NTU Singapore, and his delegation visited CSIJRI. Dr Gu Haiwen, Vice President of the Institute, warmly welcomed them.


After touring the CSIJRI exhibition hall and headquarters building, the delegation received an introduction to the Institute's accomplishments and industry landscape, covering international research collaboration, talent introduction, IP management, and technology transfer. They gained detailed knowledge about the project teams and the advancements in innovation and product R&D of the incubated enterprises. The delegation highly commended the Institute's achievements in technology transfer and commercialization.

Dr Gu highlighted that Singapore boasts a robust tech innovation framework capable of unlocking the commercial value of scientific breakthroughs. As one of the governing bodies of the Institute, NTU Singapore was among the top universities in global university rankings. It is prominent in subject-specific rankings and receives significant citations from leading innovative institutions worldwide. It has accumulated valuable experiences and effective practices in interdisciplinary research and IP management, making it a model worthy of emulation.

Among those present were Dr Celia Lee Khiaw Peng, a researcher at NTU Singapore, Mr Ang Boon Peng, Senior Vice President of the CSGKC Strategic Cooperation Department, and Wu Bing, Manager of the CSGKC Strategic Cooperation Department.
