Prof. Chan Siew Hwa, Co-Director of the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N), was awarded the "Innovation Star 2018" at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference of the Guangzhou Development District on Friday, February 22, 2019.
Prof Chan, who is also the Vice Director of CSIJRI, is an expert in fuel cell technology. He co-founded Xin-Xiang (Guangzhou) Hydrogen Technologies in July 2018. This pioneering high-tech spin-off, incubated at CSIJRI, leverages patents developed at NTU. Building on the state-level CSGKC project, the company aims to drive productivity and green growth by developing value-added fuel cell materials and products in China.
