On March 19, CSIJRI hosted a delegation led by Mr. Lee Chuan Teck, Chairman of Enterprise Singapore, and Ms Cindy Khoo, MD of Enterprise Singapore, accompanied by Mr Chen Zhiyong, Deputy Secretary of the Huangpu District Party Committee. Dr. Gu Haiwen, CSIJRI's Vice President, warmly received them and showcased the Institute's research achievements, industrial cooperation, technology commercialization, and talent exchange.
Mr. Lee had in-depth exchanges with representatives from CSIJIR-affiliated companies, such as Simscop, Guanfu, and Innovative Research Centre. He highly commended the Institute's achievements in technology transfer and commercialization.
Dr. Gu highlighted that CSIJRI has implemented the "2+X" model to bring together research teams and industrial partners, aiming to foster innovation and technology transfer between China and Singapore. This model provides a conducive environment for nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship among high-end talents from both domestic and international spheres. He expressed his aspirations to strengthen exchanges with Enterprise Singapore. At the same time, he encouraged more Singaporean companies to establish themselves in the Knowledge City to advance China-Singapore cooperation in science, technology, and innovation.
