On July 3, Prof Wen Yonggang, Associate Vice President of NTU Singapore, and his delegation visited CSIJRI. They were warmly received by Mr. Otto Wen Quan, Director of the NTU China Office and Assistant Dean of the Institute.
The delegation toured the exhibition hall and headquarters building and discussed CSIJRI's achievements in international scientific collaboration, global talent development, and research commercialization. The visit gave them a comprehensive view of cutting-edge technology, innovation, and product development efforts of project teams and incubated enterprises. They highly commended CSIJRI's effort in technology transfer and commercialization.
"As an international research cooperation platform," Mr. Wen Quan said, "CSIJRI will enhance its role in China-Singapore collaboration by pooling innovative resources from both countries. Looking ahead, the Institute will leverage its position to attract more Singaporean companies to the Knowledge City. It stays committed to fostering opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship and facilitating research commercialization."
Prof Wen's visit was attended by Ms. Carey Chen, Senior Assistant Manager at the NTU Guangzhou Office, and Ms. Zhou Xin, a distinguished NTU alumnus.
