The biggest issue with traditional education is its inability to provide personalized instruction. Whether in public schools or supplementary institutions, all students are taught the same set of knowledge points. Students end up spending a significant amount of time on repetitive learning, while very little time is dedicated to addressing areas of knowledge they have not yet mastered. This project utilizes knowledge graphs and AI+big data algorithms for analyzing learning behavior. It recommends personalized learning solutions to students based on their individual knowledge and skill levels, allowing students to plan their learning paths more efficiently and enhance their learning effectiveness. It can be applied to traditional online education, distance education, vocational training, and the intelligent upgrade of the traditional education industry.
This project, in collaboration with Alibaba Cloud Intelligence and Alibaba Damo Academy, leverages Alibaba Cloud Intelligence's technology platforms, including public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud, along with the AI algorithms developed by the NTU and SCUT teams. It aims to create a platform with three applications and five algorithms: namely, one Sino-Singapore International Education and Research Cloud (CSIERC) platform. On this platform, three innovative educational and research demonstration applications will be implemented, including remote education, knowledge graph, and talent platform applications, along with five AI-powered intelligent education-related algorithms, including AI online assessment, AI online learning behavior analysis, AI personalized learning path planning, AI educational knowledge graph, and AI talent profile.
