Prof Luo Jun is a tenured professor at NTU Singapore and a senior member of IEEE. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from EPFL Switzerland in 2006 and has over two decades of experience in wireless sensing, deep learning, and computing system integration. He and his team apply cutting-edge research to drive advancements in mobile and ubiquitous computing and intelligent sensing technologies.

Prof Luo has led numerous national research projects and corporate laboratories, translating research outcomes into practical applications. He and his team have actively participated in prestigious conferences, including IEEE, ACM, MobiCom, CVPR, SenSys, INFOCOM, UbiComp, ToN, and TMC. Together, they have authored over 130 papers and accumulated more than 7,700 citations on Google Scholar. One of their seminal papers on mobile sensing has a citation count exceeding 1,200, highlighting their significant influence in the field. Their research primarily focuses on contactless sensing and associated data analysis, leveraging wireless media such as visible light, sound waves, and radio frequency signals.
