The developed technologies can be applied for real-world applications, including the assessment and repair of deteriorating subway shield tunnels, the protection of underground bridge structures affected by external construction activities, and the safeguarding of building structures impacted by rail transit vibrations. These efforts aim to enhance existing assessment and protection standards and measures.
The project team has developed solutions for the protection and displacement control of subway tunnel shields and bridge structures. By employing research methods such as model tests, quantitative analysis, and engineering measurements, the project team has established structural assessment models for subway shield tunnels and underground bridge structures. These models enable safety assessments of existing structures, evaluations of vibration and noise caused by railway traffic, and further exploration of safety protection and noise control standards for subway tunnels and underground bridge structures.
