Key Words: Industrial Waste Salt, Catalysis, Pyrolysis, Detoxification, Resource Utilization

The disposal of hazardous chemical waste salt poses a significant challenge due to its large-scale production, complex composition, and high toxicity, and it hinders the green development of chemical enterprises. The project team is committed to developing catalytic pyrolysis technology and equipment for the efficient and environmentally friendly treatment of organic and heavy metal waste salt. This initiative aims to tackle global chemical waste salt disposal issues and promote green recycling practices within the fine chemical industry.

Potential Applications

The project team has been working closely with its industrial partners. It has conducted lab verification with two enterprises in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for organic waste salt treatment. Currently, the project team is engaged in on-site construction for pilot testing. Additionally, the team has partnered with an enterprise in Sichuan for chromium-containing waste salt treatment and is conducting experiments focusing on pyrometallurgical treatment technology.

Value Proposition

The technology developed facilitates solid waste recycling and generates valuable products such as industrial salt, calcium carbonate, and chromium salt. It also addresses other industrial applications, including the safe and recyclable treatment of inorganic waste salt, organic-inorganic mixed waste salt, and heavy metal waste salt.
