Professor Zeng Xin'an, a doctoral supervisor and Dean of the College of Food Science and Engineering at SCUT, has dedicated the past 20 years to research in agricultural products processing, non-thermal food processing, wine brewing, and sensory evaluation. He has led numerous significant scientific and technological projects, including national R&D programs under the 13th Five-Year Plan and projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation. Prof Zeng ranks among the top 0.3% of cited scholars in the ESI agricultural field and has filed over 80 patents domestically and internationally, with more than 50 of them granted. His accolades include three first prizes from the Guangdong Province Science and Technology Awards, two gold medals from the Guangdong Patent Awards, and the "CIGR Outstanding Contribution Award" from the International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
